How to run System Reports

Migration Manager comes with an assortment of System Reports that allow you to print event logs for various events throughout the system. Below are the System Reports available in MM and their purpose.

The Archive History Report will list all Matters that have been archived, including who archived the Matter and when.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter the report to a particular Matter, as well as which Log Type to report on.

Expand or collapse content Client/Trust Client Maintenance – Audit Trail

The Client/Trust Client Maintenance Audit Trail will display details of Matter Creation and Client Trust changes that occur on a Matter.  These include events such as:

  • The Matter being created.
  • Changes to the Matter’s address.
  • The Matter’s description/sub-class changing.

Select the Date range to report on.  

Expand or collapse content Inbox – History

The Inbox History log records items entering user’s Snapshot Inbox. These include Documents (added), File Notes, Portal Messages and Web Questionnaires.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter the report to a particular Log Type (Documents, Files Notes, Portal Messages or Web Questionnaires).

Expand or collapse content Matter Creation Register

The Matter Creation Register log will display all Matters created in a particular Date Range.  It will display when the Matter was created, as well as the Engagement Date, Matter Type etc.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter the report to included or exclude Closed/Archived Matters .

Expand or collapse content Portal - Documents Downloaded by Client

When you send a document from MM to the Client Portal, the event is recorded in the Portal - Documents Downloaded by Client log.  This report displays the Client ID, the Name of the document, when it was Uploaded from MM to the Portal, and when the client downloaded it.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter by Matter, the Date Uploaded or Date Downloaded, and if you want to include Documents that have been Downloaded (by the client) or Documents that haven’t been Downloaded (by the client) yet.  

Expand or collapse content Portal – Documents from Client Downloaded to Migration Manager

When a client sends a document from the Portal and it is downloaded into Migration Manager, the event will be recorded in the Portal  Documents from Client Downloaded to Migration Manager log.  This report will display the Client ID, the Document Name, when the client uploaded it to the Portal, and when it was downloaded into Migration Manager

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter by Matter, the Date the document was uploaded to the Portal or the Date the document was downloaded into MM.

The Portal History log records all important portal events such as (but not limited to), Account Lockouts; Change of Password; Messages Deleted, Clients logon, Failed logons, Messages sent etc.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter by Matter, the Date uploaded or Date downloaded, and which Log Type you would like to report on.

Expand or collapse content Portal – Web Questionnaires

The Portal Web Questionnaires log records details of when a Questionnaire was Sent to the Portal, its current Status, the date it was Commenced and when it was last accessed.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter by Matter; if you want to Exclude Completed or Deleted Questionnaires; and if you only want to report on Matters you are assigned to.

Expand or collapse content Portal – Webleads

The Portal Webleads log records all Webleads that arrive via Migration Manager’s Online Weblead function.  The log records when the Weblead was received, its current status, as well as details of the person making the inquiry.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter by the Weblead Status (Currently a Weblead, Converted or Deleted).

Expand or collapse content Portal – User Activity

The Portal User Activity log records the activity of the client accessing the Portal.  It includes such events as when they last accessed the Portal, how many times they have logged on in the last 30 days, low many times they have been locked out due to multiple incorrect password attempts etc.

You can select to filter by Matter, or the Responsible Staff member.

The System Log records many important events that occur within Migration Manager.  These events include Changing Permissions; Deleting File Notes; Matters Closed; Users logging on or off etc.

Select the Date range to report on.  You can also filter by the Log Type and which user triggered the event.

The VEVO Search History log records all VEVO Searches which have been run in Migration Manager.  The report lists details of the person VEVO was run on, as well as details of the outcome of the search.
