Updating User Permissions, User Preferences and User eLodge Accounts

After a user has been created, you may wish to change their Permissions, Preferences or manage eLodge user Accounts. To do so, follow these steps:

Accessing Preferences

From the Main Menu, select Tools, then Administrative, then Preferences.

If you don’t have access to this feature, you may need to log into Migration Manager as user Administrator.

Editing Permissions & Preferences

1. Edit User Permissions

1. Select the User Permissions tab

2. Review all of the items in the User Permissions window and tick those items which are applicable to this User Account.

Note:  You can choose to show only permissions for particular Security groups as well as Searching for a particular Permission.

Note: You can also select default Access Levels.  These can be used to quickly set Permissions for a user - or to select, then customise to your particular security needs for that user.

2. Edit Report Permissions
  1. Select the Report Permissions tab.
  2. Review all of the items in the Reports Permissions window and tick those items which are applicable to this User Account.

Note:  You can choose to show only permissions for particular Security groups as well as Searching for a particular Permission.

Note: You can also select default Access Levels.  These can be used to quickly set Report Permissions for a user - or to select, then customise to your particular security needs for that user.

3. Edit User Preferences

1. Select the User Preferences tab

2. Review all of the items in the User Preferences window and tick those items which are applicable to this User Account.

Note:  You can choose to show only preferences for particular Preference groups as well as Searching for a particular Preference.

4. Edit eLodge Preferences

4.1. Select the eLodge tab.

The eLodge Tab consists of 2 lists

  • The Left-hand List shows all the eLodge accounts that have been added in Migration Manager
  • The Right-hand List shows the users who have access to the highlighted eLodge account.

4.2. Adding a new eLodge Account login

1. Click the Add Button.

2. Select the eLodge Account Type:

  • AAT
  • Immi
  • VETASSESS
  • VETASSESS Trade Occupation

3. Enter the Username used to log into this account.

4. Enter the Login Password.  (You can click the ‘eye’ symbol to reveal the password).

5. Select the Users you wish to allow access to this Account.

6. Click Save and Close.

4.3. Editing an eLodge Account

There will be times when you need to edit your eLodge Account details, most commonly when your account password changes or if new users need access to this account.

1. Select the Account to be edited, then click the Edit button.

2. Change the eLodge Account Details accordingly, then click Save & Close.

4.4. Deleting an eLodge Account

1. If an eLodge Account is no longer required, it can be deleted by selecting the eLodge Account, then clicking Delete.

2. Click Yes to confirm Deletion.

Save

Click Save & Exit to finish.
