Open Matter Preferences – The ‘Open File’ preference tab
The Open File preference tab controls which columns should appear when you click the Open button on the main Tool Bar. Here you can add columns that are needed or remove ones that aren’t.
It is worth noting the more columns you add, the slower the Open window may take to open.
Accessing Open Files preferences
From the Main Menu, select Tools, then Administrative, then Preferences.
Select the Open File Tab.
Using the Open File tab
Simply tick or un-tick the options you would like to appear in the Open window.
Save
Once all adjustments have been made, click Save & Exit.
