Miscellaneous Preferences – The ‘Misc’ preference tab
The Misc Preference tab hold various miscellaneous preferences for Migration Manager.
Accessing ‘Misc’ Preferences
From the Main Menu, select Tools, then Administrative, then Preferences
If you don’t have access to this feature, you may need to log into Migration Manager as user Administrator.
In Preferences, select the Misc tab.
Help Desk – Internet Browser Options
This is a legacy setting and is no longer required. It will be removed in future versions.
Alternative References (Cover Page)
You can use this preference to change the name label that appears on the cover page for Alternative Reference 1, 2 and 3.
In the below example, I have entered new labels on for all 3 Alternative References.

Error Reports
Allowing the Migration Manager application to send error reports means that if a problem is encountered, the application will automatically send details of this error to the Development team. All transmissions are encrypted and all data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Not allowing error reporting can limit the amount of investigation we can provide when errors occur.
Progress Items
When you mark a Progress Item as Done/Complete, Migration Manager can automatically create a comment on that Progress item stating that the item is complete and mark the comment with the date/time and user's initials that completed the task.
Save
Once all adjustments have been made, click Save & Exit.
