How to Prepare an End of Matter Statement of Services

Clause 5.5(c)(iii) of the Migration Agents Code of Conduct imposes an obligation upon Registered Migration Agents to provide their clients with "a statement of services within 28 days after a final decision is made about the visa application, cancellation review application, nomination or sponsorship to which the immigration assistance related." An example of the document which should be sent is contained in the MARA's Client Monies Tookit at section 7.3.1 (pictured below). These instructions provide details on how to prepare and send this document to your client using Migration Manager.

1. Go to the Office Accounts tab

First, open the relevant matter and go to the Accounts tab and then the Office Accounts tab.

2. Click the Print button

Next click the Print button on the right of the Office Account tab.

3. Click Matter Statement - Statement of Services

Now click Matter Statement - Statement of Services.

The Statement of Services will now proceed to merge.

When complete, it will appear as either a Word or PDF depending on your system preferences.

4. Go to Documents tab

A copy of the Statement will be saved in the Accounts folder in the Documents tab.
